This was what we’ve been waiting for. To say we were excited to go to Octopi is an understatement. We have been waiting for this one because we absolutely ADORE Untitled Art beers, in literally all their forms. So while we expectedto enjoy great beverages and have a great time, we did not expect to be blown away by sheer inclusivity of this place. For the first time in our Mocks&Cocks lives, we went to a place where the alcoholic vs nonalcoholic beverage selection was almost 50/50. Cannot begin to describe what that means to us.
Katy tried Untitled Art NA Italian Pilsner and an IPA (which again, she really does love despite her protests) as well as a Watermelon Seltzer. All delicious, all recommendable to friends. Bridget had her first post Dry January fully leaded beverage on camera, starting with a Chocolate Cinnamon Churro Pastry Stout (say that three times fast) and finishing with a Candied Pecan Pastry Stout, both from Untitled Art. She likes dark beers that taste like doughnuts? Who knows. They were all fabulous.
We ventured out into a snowstorm for this experience and 10/10 would do it again. Only slightly bummed by the fact that they were not serving food that night, again, snowstorm, but truthfully, it just gave us an immediate excuse to plan a trip back. None complaints out of us on that one.
